In order for you to be completely happy with your purchase we are able to provide extra photos on request and/or arrange a time for you to view or collect your item to ensure that it's just right for you and your home. If however this is not possible and you wish to return your purchase we ask that you do so within the first 7 days. In these circumstances we cannot accept responsibility for the cost of returns and the item should be returned to us in the same condition in which it was dispatched by us. As we specialise in vintage goods it is to be expected that there will be signs of signs of wear and tear, of previous use and repair where necessary. If new (i.e. where the items are described as new) items are deemed faulty please contact us immediately to enable us to rectify the situation.
We are able to deliver free of charge within a 10 mile radius of Hope Cottage premises, for individual items of furniture. We apply a sliding scale of charges based on distance thereafter: please contact us for details. We endeavour to deliver our own furniture to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. We will arrange a time and day with you in advance, if no-one is in to receive the item and we are unable to deliver as agreed a further charge for delivery would be made. If you would prefer to collect your item or arrange your own courier service, we would be happy to arrange with you a collection time to suit: in these circumstances we cannot accept responsibility for items once they leave Hope Cottage premises and are in transit. However we would be happy to package goods prior to leaving the premises.
